The central telescope pier holds an 8 inch Celestron telescope with a clock drive that tracks the heavens. The skies above Elarra can be quite dark if the fog has covered the valley lights, but even on other nights the Milky Way is visible. In addition to being an observatory, we have added the ability to show movies in a spectacular venue above the valley floor.
